California Road Trip (A Photo Diary)
We started in L.A.
exploring it’s neighborhoods, eating everything from black ramen to filipino fusion at the grand central market in DTLA. Of course, we made time for some shopping on La Brea where all the streetwear brands live.
I remember the weather being perfect this day. Not too windy, but just enough for the gusts to remind me to be present. We went to Baker Beach to see the Golden Gate Bridge from a different angle - worth the trek. I’d been to Cali before but now I know why people move here and never leave.
Sleeping under California redwoods, roasting marshmallows and driving the California coast at 7 AM just for THIS view = my whole life made. I've literally dreamt of driving up HWY 1 since I was a teenager. To finally make it to McWay Falls, a place I'd stumbled upon on Instagram just a few years earlier was truly a dream.
The road was long but so beautiful. California is really made for dreaming. We twisted and turn as we headed north up the PCH. I was feeling all the feels. There's something about finally making it to a place you'd never thought you'd see. Travel has been just that for me - dreams turned to realities.
